Mamie Gummer looks ready to save some lives in promotional photos released for her upcoming CW show Emily Owens, M.D.
The 29-year-old actress and daughter of Hollywood legend Meryl Streep is joined in the series by Hart of Dixie actor Justin Hartley.
The show follows Emily (Gummer)’s story – she is beginning her residency at a large hospital and is glad that her high school days are finally behind her. Much to her dismay, however, Emily soon discovers that a hospital and a high school aren’t all that different.
Emily Owens, M.D. premieres Tuesday, October 16 at 9/8c on the CW!
